This series of 14 videos explains the main features and procedures in ShiVa3D and demonstrates how to use them.

New to ShiVa3D? In need of a refresher course? Try out the ShiVa Minute series of  videos currently running on YouTube. This series of 14 videos – each one around 2-3 minutes long – clearly explains the main features and procedures in ShiVa3D and demonstrates how to use them.

The videos were created, independently of Stonetrip, by Felix Caffier, better known to ShiVa3D developer forum users as broozar, who also wrote the script and voiced the narrative instructions. The series starts right at the beginning, showing how to install ShiVa3D, then shows how to launch the ShiVa3D Editor, before running through features such as using materials, adding models, light and shadows and so on. The penultimate video, s1e13, introduces a real-world ShiVa3D project, and concludes with a tour of the developer website in s1e14.

The ShiVa Minute season is designed for the beginner, and aims, says Felix/broozar, is intended to serve as short, clear instructional videos that cover many frequently-asked basics, just enough to get people started. Do check them out if you can think of anyone who would benefit from watching them, and let us know what you think of them on the ShiVa3D developer forum page.
